I am completely wiped tonight and am basically calling this a day off from blogging. Four hours of sleep two nights in a row just kinda does you in. Such is the life of the software developer: occasionally you pull nutty hours.
On a personal note, good news is after living in the US for six and a half years, I finally have permanent residence in the US, AKA the Green Card. The process is extremely lengthy, and fraught with an immense amount of paperwork, vaccinations, and questions from border guards over the years, but now I can stick around and actually, you know, do things like do personal programming projects and make money off them, if I so choose.
So here's to the immigration process, which is technically only half done if I want citizenship, but let's focus on the good here and now!
Congrats, glad to hear it!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's a massive pressure off of me. You don't really know just how much those little stresses that border crossings and the like add up when you effectively can get booted out of the country at any moment. I suppose that technically doesn't change, but still, hooray!
